It’s no secret that we’re fans of both Diplo and GTA and their latest collaboration “Boy Oh Boy” is simply another in a long list of examples why. Anybody who grew up in the Timbaland/Missy Elliot era of 90s Hip-Hop will immediately recognize the samples that are used to great effect throughout the track. Not only is it creative, but the tribals drums and the constant tempo changes give the track a lot of life and movement that sounds different than a lot of the music that’s recently been out. Don’t get us wrong, we’re big fans of single tempo songs, but this switch up is welcome change of pace. Did we not mention it’s free? Now you have no excuse.
