Being asked to do an Essential Mix is similar to getting a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.  In it’s own way, it means you’ve officially made it.  Not like that applies to Thomas Gold, but it definitely elevates you to a rank that is held by only the best in dance music.  In that sense, is fitting that Gold was asked to create a coveted mix for Mr. Tong.  Gold is a phenomenal DJ and producer who has earned the respect of colleagues and fans alike for his innovative production and quality live sets.  Even more than his music, it’s almost impossible not to like a guy as humble and passionate as him.  Ever seen an interview with him?  Google it.  All of his skills are on display in this mix and it touts one of the more expansive and impressive track lists we’ve ever posted.  This is one you need to listen to.  Enjoy.
