Magnetic Man is a trio that was formed in 2007 by three legendary dubstep producers: Artwork, Benga, and Skream. Over the years, they’ve played some of the biggest shows and released some of the biggest tunes to grace the bass filled genre. They’ve been featured by Mary Anne Hobbs, Mistajam, and many more, and are widely regarded as a powerhouse of talent (each individual already has impressive careers by themselves; they are to dubstep what Swedish House Mafia is to house). In particular, their ability to mix their dubstep roots with more mainstream music is one of the things that has definitively set them apart. Their singles have featured tons of artists including John Legend, Ms. Dynamite, and Katy B. Even if you haven’t heard of Magnetic Man, you’ve probably already heard one of their tracks. They’re playing HARD Summer tonight from 8:30-9:40, so make sure you get there early to get a good space. You will have a great time.
