It’s undeniable that Skrillex has changed the game. For better or worse, he’s brought a spotlight to bass music that was never there previously. His latest remix of Birdy Nam Nam’s “Goin’ In” takes a different approach than the traditional smash you in the face with as much bass as possible that we’ve come accustomed to from many dubstep producers. Instead, the feel is more hip-hop based, giving it a different groove. In our eyes: different = good. Listen for yourself and tell us what you think.
