In another sign of the changing of the guard, this weekend Mushroom Jazz House legend, Mark Farina had his set cut short Marquee Day Club in Las Vegas on Saturday. According to tweets from Mark, table service patrons at the event were not enjoying Mark’s trademark sunkissed house sound. And in a venue when tens of thousands of dollars get dropped at a table or on a cabana, it appears that the customer is always right.
While Mark has so far been gracious enough to just step down and away from creating any further controversy, DJ Sneak chimed in via Twitter continuing his championing of the old school. At this point no further word from Marquee.
